WAKE THE GIANT

What shall we say of a country so blessed it is envied by the world

So rich all the countries want to come and eat at our troughs

In the face of turmoil and disaster, we stand together

we are banded together by the Niger and Benue rivers

Like broom sticks with a rubber band

So blessed with raw riches and untapped resources

we boast a great number of armed forces ready to guide and protect

Little wonder we draw investors the world over

we cant sit inactive any longer

Its time to wake up from our eternal slumber

lets arise to the clarion call

See what glory awaits

When we live up to our full potential 

If Africa is  a gun we are at the trigger point

therefore its time
